Mr. Thomas PEARSON

Senior Legal Counsel

Mr. Thomas Pearson is a senior legal counsel to BNG Legal. Thomas holds a Juris Doctor from George Mason University in Virginia (United States), where he focused on law and economics. He also studied international trade and human rights law. Thomas studied comparative legal systems, focusing on legal systems in transition from socialist regimes, and international alternative dispute resolution, focusing on commercial arbitration, at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary.

Before studying law, Thomas received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Hillsdale College in Michigan (United States). He is a member of the Alabama Bar in the United States. Immediately prior to arriving in Cambodia, Thomas maintained a general legal practice in Alabama providing services across a broad range of practice areas. Before entering the legal profession, Thomas worked for several years in public policy in Washington, DC. At both the Competitive Enterprise Institute and the Cato Institute, he served as a research analyst in technology and telecommunications policy.

His current areas of practice are commercial contracts and general business law. Thomas speaks English.
