Mr. Ponlok SOK

Legal Officer

Mr. Ponlok SOK is a Legal Officer in the Legal Research and Documentation Department of BNG Legal. Ponlok holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics in cooperation with the University Lumiere Lyon 2, France. He is currently completing his Master’s Degree in Land Law and Real Estate from the same University in cooperation with the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3.

Prior to joining BNG, Ponlok worked as legal assistant for the Co-Investigating Judges at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia for the Prosecution of Crimes Committed during the Period of Democratic Kampuchea (ECCC). He also completed a legal internship at the Law Firm of HBS & Consultants in order to complete his thesis for the Master’s Degree.

Ponlok has experience in Civil and Penal Laws, Court Procedure, Contract Drafting and Land Law. Ponlok specializes in Land Law and Real Estate, Legal Research, Civil and Criminal Laws.

Ponlok speaks Khmer, English and French.
